He was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer of Calibre Mining, which merged with Equinox Gold on June 17, 2025, and was briefly President &#038; Chief Operating Officer of Equinox Gold before being appointed CEO and a Director on July 22, 2025. He has also served as Chief Operating Officer of Kirkland Lake Gold, which acquired Newmarket Gold, where he also served as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Newmarket Gold, Darren worked for Newmont Mining Corporation, where he held roles of increasing responsibility throughout the organization for almost 30 years. David is a seasoned executive leader of large-scale mining companies focused on building strong health and safety cultures, driving operational excellence, and delivering value through mining efficiencies. He was the COO of Calibre Mining, which merged with Equinox Gold on June 17, 2025, and prior to that held the same role at Perseus Mining. He also served as President of Ma&#8217;aden Gold and Base Metals and was Executive Vice President &#038; COO at New Gold. Earlier in his career, David spent 22 years at Newmont Corporation, where he advanced through increasingly senior roles, culminating in his appointment as Senior Vice President, Africa. Prior to his time in Africa, he served as Newmont&#8217;s Vice President of North American operations, overseeing a portfolio of eight open pit and underground mines. Before joining Equinox Gold, Peter was the CFO of True Gold until it was acquired by Endeavour Mining in April 2016. Peter is a Chartered Professional Accountant with nearly 20 years of finance, accounting, business development, government negotiation, construction and operations experience. Before his time at True Gold, Peter spent 10 years at Nevsun Resources Ltd., where he progressed through various management positions and spent several years as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. She was the Chief Financial Officer of Calibre Mining, which merged with Equinox Gold in June 2025. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Financial Officer and, for a period, also the President and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Iamgold Corporation; Partner, Investment Banking at Sprott Capital Partners; Chief Executive Officer of Orvana Minerals; and Executive Vice-Chair of Baffinland Iron. Before entering the mining industry, Daniella was Chief Operating Officer of Dundee\u2019s national wealth management and capital markets businesses and also served as General Counsel of Dundee Wealth and Dundee Corporation. Since 2010, she has served on the boards of nine companies in the natural resources, energy, and chemicals industries.<\/p><p class=\"fndry-paragraph\" style=\"--color:var(--fndry-color-white)\">Recognized as one of the Top 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining and named a Diversity 50 Candidate by the Canadian Board Diversity Council, Daniella holds the NACD Directorship Certification\u2122, the Global Competent Boards Designation in Sustainability and ESG (GCB.D), and the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from the NACD and Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Vint was a director of Calibre Mining, which merged with Equinox Gold on June 17, 2025, and of Newmarket Gold Inc. which was purchased for $1.0 billion by Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd.
